The Divine Proportion: Golden (Phi)nomena of Nature

There is one proportion that is divine.  A ratio of two numbers, the simplest of which being one.  Paired with unity, there is only one number that is capable of fractal expansion and contraction.  By using the four operations of mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, this golden number (1.6180339..) is the key to understanding fractality, holograms, life, and the nature of reality.  This is the number (or ratio) the universe uses to become more aware of itself. It turns out that this Phi ratio is almost exactly smack dab in the middle of the two solutions of ‘squaring the circle’, that is drawing a square that is commensurate to a circle, either by having equal areas, or equal perimeters ( or lengths).

Fibonacci: The Fractions of Life

The Fibonacci Sequence is Nature’s favorite series of numbers.  They are found wherever there is life.  Closely associated with phi, this sequence actually generates this golden ratio when any number is divided by the number before it. Phi = 1.618033988.. The Fibonacci Sequence: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 1597, 2584, 4181, 6765, 10946, 17711, 28657, 46368, … Phi and phee are generated from the Fibonacci sequence in this way.  This might be an indication that fractions are important, especially in relation to the Fibonacci numbers, since they create the golden ratio or the divine proportion. The 11th number in the sequence is 89.  Zero is not a number but a placeholder for numeric expansion and contraction.  Interestingly 89 is 11 less than one hundred, but even more interesting is its reciprocal, which is 1/89.…

The Great Pyramid of Giza

Some claim that we have the technology to build a replica of the Great Pyramid of Giza today, while others suggest the intricate detail, being so far advanced, is impervious to the consciousness of modern man.  Our hubris blinds us to the possibility that the Ancients were far more developed than we are today.  Sure, we may have iphones and nanotechnology, but the ineffable brilliance and extreme precision attained by the Ancients through their architecture is still unattainable for experts in 2015.
