The entire point of Flat Earth may be to trap inquisitive minds. If the ancients believed in a flat Earth, then their cosmology can be dismissed as primitive and unworthy of serious study, since we now know that Earth is a sphere. By obscuring the true meaning of ancient cosmology, we have convinced ourselves that the ancients did not know what they were talking about. But perhaps they did—and perhaps the flaw lies not in their cosmology, but in our interpretation of it.

Flat Earth is a misunderstanding of the Cosmic Egg described in ancient texts across the world. These texts describe an upper and lower portion of the Cosmic Egg containing heaven and Earth. Where the misunderstanding began was in how they divided the heavenly portion from the earthly portion.

The geometry of an egg is three-dimensional, but by slicing the Egg at its equator, they created this false flat world. The texts describe an upper and lower portion of the Egg, representing heaven and Earth respectively, but this was taken literally by chopping it in half at the equator.

There are millions of Flat Earthers in our world. Most reasonable people, when first hearing about Flat Earth, understandably reject it and look no further. But Flat Earthers become convinced because they believe they have science on their side, such as long-distance observations and experiments that suggest the Earth is fixed and stationary, and that it is the heavens that move, not us.

It is a sieve to capture inquisitive minds. It immediately shuts down critical thinking. That might be the whole point. If I were conspiracy-minded, I would think that the cosmology of these ancient peoples across the world was deliberately mistransliterated, turning the true nature of heaven and Earth into a joke Obama makes during speeches.
