The Flaming Sword was the weekly publication of the Koreshan Unity — a utopian community founded by Dr. Cyrus Teed in late 19th-century Florida. Over its decades-long run, the paper built a detailed case that Earth is a stationary hollow sphere containing the entire universe.
This archive indexes the articles that made that argument — verbatim transcriptions with scans and editorial notes. It's a work in progress: 785 issues survive, and only a portion have been transcribed so far.

He praises the Florida rectilineator experiment but questions its conclusiveness, suggesting a test on a frozen lake would be more definitive. He notes his own level-and-staff tests on still water showed no curvature. Prof. Morrow responds in detail, explaining the water-level transfer methodology, hypsometric operations, and the visual extension of the air line via telescope, concluding that Koreshanity has an absolutely scientific foundation.
