The problem that has long engaged the minds of scientists has been solved; the earth's form, the determination of which has baffled the skill and taxed the ingenuity of the scientific world, is at last demonstrated to be cellular, with its habitable surface concave! In the light of all it implies and involves, there is nothing in the entire realm of science that is of more stupendous import. When realized, there can be nothing more startling than the absolute evidences of the earth's concavity. To the mind of the rational investigator, theory of the earth's concave curvature is removed from the plane of mere probability to that of absolute certainty; the circuitous route of inquiry concerning the various phenomena of the universe is now obviated, and the question definitely settled in the minds of those who have considered and comprehended the meaning of the simple facts afforded through the application of the principles of accurate geodetic survey. There at once begins a rapid progress of the Koreshan System—the mighty scientific revolution must inevitably follow the promulgation of a Scientific System founded upon a demonstrated premise. The popular system, in order to support its conclusions, has had to resort to various seemingly plausible explanations of phenomena; these explanations are now7 appealed to as proofs of the correctness of the assumptions. There is not a fact that can be found to contradict any other fact in its testimony concerning the form of the universe; once the premise of the earth's concavity is admitted to be demonstrated, the acceptance of the entire System logically founded upon that premise, follows as a natural result.
For the first time in the history of the world a simple, direct and absolute test has been made of the earth's surface. The world is not only confronted with the evidences of the earth's true form and contour, but also the challenge which the facts themselves hurl into the face of fallacy in stronger terms than is possible with the pen! Scientists have searched for centuries for some satisfactory evidence in support of the popular theory and have not found it, and they now admit that the very nature of things will not admit of direct evidence. Great would be the rejoicing among them if the Copernican system could be as firmly grounded upon facts as is the Koreshan Cosmogony! Even now they cling to mere shadows of evidences in preference to the thousands of proofs that the earth is concave. All the efforts of modern scientists to find some conclusive evidence that the earth is convex, are now rendered futile through the application of simple and specific geometric and geodetic principles demonstrating the earth's surface to be concave. The failure of scientific investigators of the past and present to ascertain that which they have so long desired, is evidence that the system they have endeavored to substantiate is incapable of meeting the exigencies of the hour. Under the delusions of the incubus of fallacy, instead of arriving at true and definite conclusions in the realm of true science, they are further adrift than ever before. The success of the Koreshan System in demonstrating its premise proves its character, and establishes for all time the true basis of conclusion in thought and life.
Our Geometrical Propositions Impregnable.
There is not a rational mind that can deny that the specific propositions set forth in the Koreshan System involve the most direct means of determining not only the true form of the earth, but also the ratio of its curvature. The survey of an air line at right angles to the perpendicular at any given point, involves geometrical principles that are absolute. There are certain specific relations existing between a curved surface and straight lines that cannot be changed to suit the prejudices and jealousies of the would-be scientists. A straight line extended in two directions from the apex of a convex arc must be tangent to the arc at that point, and as surely, the line would extend into space; it would be impossible for such a line to ever again come in contact with the surface curvating away from the tangent line at a specific ratio of amplification. If the straight line be surveyed upon a concave surface, the termini of that line would be in contact with the surface at two points equidistant from the radius vector of the chord or the given perpendicular. The survey of a line in two directions— the extension of such a line into the water's surface at the termini of the chord of arc, is an absolute demonstration that the surface over which the line is extended is concave.
Here are the geometrical principles defining the relations existing between the chord and arc; the facts of the geodetic survey of such a line place the question beyond dispute, for the methods employed involve principles as absolute as the specific geometrical propositions and principles upon which the whole survey is predicated. The truth of the Cellular Cosmogony is a stern reality, with its evidences tangibly manifest! The great plumb-line of scientific integrity is being suspended—by it the boasted claims of the world are to be tested. It now remains for the world to prove its love or hatred of Truth—its ability or inability to rationalize, by its acceptance or rejection of the facts so absolute, of principles so simple, and of a system so directly the reverse of all modern systems as to be startling to all not afflicted with that dense stupidity which we have found manifest in some spheres of thought!
The New Geodesy in Its Success "Exceeds in Importance the World's Fruitless Scientific Research.
The importance of an undertaking is always measured by its ultimate results. On such a basis we place the importance of our geodetic survey over against all the efforts of modern scientific men, with all their millions of dollars, with all their appliances and apparatus of the very finest workmanship, and with all their observatories. With all the facilities at their command, they have failed to bring to humanity that which they have been commissioned and paid to discover. The geodesist and geographers have almost girdled the globe with surveyors' chains in the endeavor to discover the earth's true form. Certainly, at their bidding, vessels have plied the oceans of the world in every direction and from pole to pole in the hope of discovering some fact indicative of the correctness of their conclusions. In the more advanced nations, section after section has been selected as the field of geodetic operations, where base lines, triangles and quadrilaterals have been surveyed; and yet they have failed to accomplish that for which they have ostensibly labored. Likewise, the ingenuity of the astronomers has been directed toward the heavens in the investigation of all the movements of the visible orbs above us, and have failed to discover a single fact in support of the hypothesis of the earth's motion—they have failed to determine the true distance of a single fixed star, and their calculations of solar, lunar and planetary magnitudes and distances are wide of the mark. To prove theory of the earth's diurnal rotation and annual revolution about the sun, many ingenious experiments have been conducted, and wonderfully accurate instruments and mechanical appliances have been employed, but without success.
When we consider the remarkable success of the geodetic work of the Koreshan System proving the earth's concavity, in contrast with the failure of scientists, how utterly insignificant seem all their efforts! How fruitless the many expeditions commissioned by the various governments of the world to make observations of the transits of Venus for the purpose of determining the true solar parallax! How valueless, in view of the failure to prove the conclusions desired, are the experiments with Foucault's pendulum, the rotating gyroscopes, spectral analysis and star-gauging! In short, the stupendous efforts put forth in the cause of so called science are needless expenditures of energy. We are not discrediting the scientific work of the world; such efforts have their value, but the work thus far performed by scientists of the old school is not of paramount importance. We are simply comparing success with failure, the results of energy directed along the line of Truth, with that contributed to the cause of the great mogul of fallacy. The great wonder of the hour, the startling fact now manifesting and forcing itself upon the rational mind is, that outside of the ranks of recognized scientists there should develop a line of scientific work that eclipses all the efforts of the vast army of astronomers and teachers in all the observatories and universities of the world!
Potent Factors of the Scientific Revolution.
Hard to be credited, is it? Yet such things have occurred in the past. The world was once entrenched behind the astronomy of Ptolemy and the philosophy of Aristotle—all the scientists of the world were advocating these phases of fallacy until they were supplanted by something more in keeping with the mental conditions of that period. A more gigantic form of fallacy developed from the deadness of the older systems, and now almost the entire world endorses that which had a struggle to gain a foothold. If the Copernican system of astronomy, having only an hypothesis—an assumption—for a premise of conclusion, has succeeded in converting the world to its absurdities after three centuries of effort, how much more potent, as a fact of scientific revolution, must be the marvelous System of KORESH, founded upon the absolute truth of the earth's concavity! The popular astronomical fallacy succeeded because of the invention of the telescope, which revealed some things in the physical heavens unknown to the advocates of the Ptolemaic system. The Koreshan System must as surely, yet more rapidly, supplant the now prevailing system, possessing as it does every real scientific element in the world, and introducing entirely new and original methods of scientific experimentation. Nothing can impede its progress; it is invincible. The world cannot long withstand the forces of the absolute truth, having for its foundation the indisputable facts of the greatest discovery of modern times.
