Cancer: No luck involved

Recently an article surfaced in the mainstream media about how cancer is just bad luck.  “Sometimes there just isn’t a good explanation for a cancer diagnosis other than random bad luck”, they claim.  As we will see this couldn’t be further from the truth.  Cancer has everything to do with the way we live our lives.  When we get cancer it’s not because of bad luck, it’s because of bad diet and a poisoned mind. Over the years cancer rates have increased exponentially. There have been theories that this only appears this way due to improved methods of detection. These theories have been thoroughly debunked. I shouldn’t have to convince anyone that more and more people are getting cancer, all you have to do is look around.  Here’s an article that suggests that cancer cases are expected to soar by 70% over the next 20…

Vaccines: Did They Really Save Us From Dis-ease?

vaccines didn't save us

Most people believe that vaccines saved us from deadly diseases. We actually don’t have any scientific evidence to prove this, but nevertheless we still believe this is the case.  It would be unethical to conduct a double-blind, placebo controlled study to prove the efficacy of vaccines since we already ostensibly know they work and wouldn’t want to put innocent children (the control group) at risk of disease. Jump right to the evidence There is no scientific evidence to show that vaccines are safe and effective, but we do know that after the introduction of vaccines, the death rates attributed to these diseases plummeted.  But there is an inherent problem with this logic. Since correlation does not imply or promise causation, the disappearance of these diseases could be attributed to better hygiene, improved sanitation, as well as a number of other technological advances, all of which came to the…

Water: It’s a Mystery

Geometry of the Water Droplet

Water is the most common substance known to man and also the most mysterious.  The list of anomalies associated with it runs as long as the ocean is deep.  Modern science has ignored this seemingly simple molecule, dismissing any qualities beyond the materialistic as pseudoscience and new age baloney.  Water is central to life and more than its mere chemical makeup.  Today nobody really understands it.  Water is the ultimate mystery. Any substance can exist in three different physical forms; solid, liquid and gas. Water is the only substance on earth that naturally occurs in all three states. As a gas it is one of lightest known, as a liquid it is much denser than expected and as a solid it is much lighter than expected. Unlike other liquids, water expands when frozen. Yet, while frozen, weighs around 9% less than water which is why…

The Blood Moon Tetrad

moon

This coming Saturday(4-4-15) is number 3 out of 4 of the Blood Moon Tetrad (Tetrad meaning four) in the 2014-1015 season.  According to NASA, the shadow of Earth will completely cover the Moon which causes it to turn red. In Colorado where I live we will be able to see the “totality” beginning at 5:58 AM Mountain Time.  If you live on the East Coast you won’t be as lucky and will only see a partial ‘occulting’ or hiding of the Moon. Early-rising observers all over the United States should be able to see at least the partial phases of the April 4 lunar eclipse just before the sun rises, if weather permits. People on the West Coast will have the chance to see the moon turn an eerie shade of red during totality, which should begin at about 7:58 a.m. EDT (1158 GMT,…

The Seven Liberal Arts

Seven Liberal Arts 15

The seven liberal arts are the disciplines of study that the Pythagoreans taught in their mystery schools.  They’re the subjects or skills, that in classical antiquity were considered essential for a free person to cultivate to gain a solid foundation of their physical reality. (Latin: liberalis, “worthy of a free person”) The Trivium is made up of Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric.  But not exactly in the sense of the words.  Grammar is information we gather, the “Who, What, When, and Where”.  Logic is the processing of that data and attempt to make sense of it.  It’s our reason and understanding.  Logic answers”Why”.  Rhetoric is the applying of knowledge to gain wisdom.  Rhetoric answers the “How”. The 7 Liberal Arts The Trivium:  (tri for three) Grammar (Who, What, When, Where) Logic (Why) Rhetoric (How) The Quadrivium (quad for four) Number Geometry (Number in Space) Music (Number in Time) Astronomy…

The Philosopher’s Stone (d)

philosopher's stone

Manly P. Hall writes, The Philosopher’s Stone is an ancient symbol of the perfected and regenerated man whose divine nature shines forth through a chain of purified and unfolded vehicles. It is a term used to describe the Supreme Wisdom, the union of the divine consciousness or omniscient Solar Principle in man with the lower consciousness or personality, which union has been the goal of Initiates of all ages. Exoterically, the Philosopher’s Stone is the secret of the transmutation of the baser metals into gold. Esoterically, it is the transformation of the self.  This is what is known as the “Great Work”. “Make of a man and woman a circle; then a quadrangle; out of this a triangle; make again a circle, and you will have the Stone of the Wise.” In Michael Maier’s Atalanta Fugiens, a book of alchemical engravings by Johann de Bry,…

The Anthropic Principle Fallacy

earth moon

Life exists because the conditions of our planet are perfect. The Moon is just the right distance from Earth. The gravitational constant and electric charge on the atom are just right.  Everything is somehow just perfect.. The Anthropic Principle is the idea that it is pointless to question why, because life can only exist with these perfect conditions. This is a dismissive and circular logical fallacy. It’s a flaw in reasoning.  Life is much more than a bunch of coincidences. We are more than the mere product of time and chance. We dismiss the beauty and intelligence of mother nature as a serendipitous ‘big bang’ that arose from nothing for no particular reason.  Consent in manufactured through the acquiescence of the minds that are weak. A nihilistic ontology by way of ‘big bangs’, the media, and propagandized sheep. “The facts of science are real enough, and so…

Cognitive Dissonance

Cognitive Dissonance | Ancient Knowledge | Psychology

Evidence alone rarely sways the opinions of the people or the person. More creative means must be employed to ignite the fire of self transformation, to clear past the fog of cognitive dissonance that keeps the collective unconscious enslaved to fallacious theories supported by the majority and backed up by ideology instead of reality.   The larger the number of people that believe in a certain ‘truth’, the less interested we are in validating the origin of the ostensible truth.   As a result, no evidence is required to prove the validity of these sacrosanct ‘truths’ firmly established in the minds of the scientific community, the average plumber, and the common house wife. Any aberrant models contrasting the current paradigm of ‘truth’ are quickly cast aside as heretical dissidents, crackpot quackery, regardless of the piles of evidence to back them up. The more we think we know…
